Fun Street Soft Play

The best soft play in Glasgow by a mile

We have tried almost every soft play in Glasgow and Fun Street at Silverburn is head and shoulders above the rest. The storybook theming is brilliant — my daughter thinks she is walking into a fairy tale every time we visit. The play frame is huge with plenty of slides and climbing areas, and the toddler section is properly separated so my two-year-old can play safely. The cafe is genuinely good, not just acceptable for a soft play. I can sit with a proper flat white and a toastie while watching both kids through the viewing area. The Silverburn location is a bonus because we always combine it with a bit of shopping. Free parking is a massive plus. We come here at least twice a month and it never disappoints.

Fun Street Soft Play

Perfect for birthday parties

We held our son's 6th birthday party at Fun Street and it was absolutely fantastic. The themed party room was decorated beautifully, the party host kept everything running smoothly, and the kids had an incredible time on the play frame. The food was much better than the usual party fare — proper sandwiches, fruit, and decent pizza. Every parent who attended commented on how good the venue was. Several of them have since booked their own parties there. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Worth every penny and we will definitely be back for our daughter's party next year.

Fun Street Soft Play

Cleanest soft play we have visited

As a parent who is quite particular about hygiene, Fun Street impressed me from the first visit. The equipment is visibly clean, the toilets are well-maintained, and the staff seem to take cleaning seriously. The play areas are bright and well-lit, which makes a nice change from some of the darker, older soft play centres. My toddler loves the dedicated under-4s area and I love that I can see her from the cafe. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. We drive from Barrhead specifically for Fun Street because the quality is noticeably better than anywhere else we have tried.

Wonder World Soft Play

Great size but can get very busy

Wonder World is one of the biggest soft play centres in Glasgow and the play frame is impressive. My kids love the big slides and the ball pit area. The three different age zones work well in theory, though during peak times they can get quite crowded. The cafe has improved recently and the food is decent. The arcade machines near the entrance are a bit of a trap — the kids always want coins. Location is convenient for us in Govan and the subway is nearby. A solid option but it can feel overwhelming when it is packed at weekends.

Soft Play at Kelvin Hall

Lovely for younger children

Kelvin Hall soft play is our go-to venue in the West End. The circus theme is charming and my 18-month-old absolutely loves the baby area. It is smaller than some of the bigger commercial venues but that actually works in its favour — it feels less chaotic and more manageable. The ASN sessions are a wonderful initiative and we have attended a couple with our nephew who has autism. The staff are understanding and the reduced numbers make a real difference. Being able to pop into Kelvingrove Museum afterwards makes it a great half-day out.

Inflata Nation Glasgow

Different from traditional soft play — kids loved it

Inflata Nation is not a traditional soft play but my kids preferred it. The giant inflatables are brilliant fun and the obstacle courses had them running around for the full session. The toddler area (Mini Land) is well separated and my three-year-old was happy there while the older one tackled the big inflatables. It is more physically demanding than soft play so the kids were properly tired afterwards, which is always a win. Parking is free and the staff were good at supervising. Slightly more expensive than traditional soft play but the kids keep asking to go back.

See Saw Cafe

The best cafe-play combo in Glasgow

See Saw is not a big soft play centre — it is a genuinely lovely cafe that happens to have a brilliant play area for under-5s. The food is excellent, the coffee is proper, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. My toddler can play safely while I actually enjoy my lunch, which is rare at most soft play venues. The play equipment is clean and well-maintained. It is small, which means it never feels overcrowded. Perfect for parents who want to meet friends for coffee while the little ones play. Our favourite spot in Cathcart.

Flip Out Glasgow

Brilliant for older kids and teens

Flip Out is more of a trampoline park than a soft play but it has areas suitable for younger children too. My 10-year-old and his friends had an absolute blast on the trampolines, dodgeball courts, and ninja warrior course. The younger kids section is decent though not as impressive as dedicated soft play centres. The cafe is basic but functional. Great for birthday parties with older children. The Clydebank location has good parking. If your kids are over 6, this is worth considering as an alternative to traditional soft play.

Bubbles Soft Play

Reliable local soft play

Bubbles has been our local soft play for years and it consistently delivers. The play frame is a good size with slides, ball pits, and climbing areas. The baby section is separate which is important when you have a crawler. The cafe does decent hot food and the prices are reasonable. It is not the flashiest venue in Glasgow but it is clean, well-run, and the staff know most of the regular families by name. Having their own car park is a big plus. A solid, dependable choice for Southside families.

The Big Adventure

Worth the drive to Linwood

The Big Adventure in Linwood is a bit of a hidden gem. The play frame is genuinely big with multiple levels and some impressive slides. It is less crowded than the Glasgow city venues, which means the kids get more space to play. The cafe is basic but fine, and the prices are competitive. We drive from Paisley and it only takes about 10 minutes. Good parking and easy to find. If you live in the Renfrewshire area, this is a great option that avoids the busy city centre venues.
